For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many..... Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.... For wheresoever the carcase is there will the eagles be gathered together.

Does God really speak with us?

Genesis 2: 15, 16,18, 23
And the Lord God took the man and put him into the the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat...   And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an helpmeet for him... And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of man.

St Luke 2:25-29

And behold there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon ... and it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord's Child. ... and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen  thy salvation.

St Luke 2:8 -- 14

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone around about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

St Luke 1: 46 & 47

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my  Saviour.

Ether 4:8 & 9

And he that will contend against the word of the Lord, let him be accursed: ... saith Jesus Christ: for I am he who speaketh. And at my command the heavens are opened and are shut: and at my word the earth shall shake.

Luke 1 30-31

And the angell said unto her, Fear not Mary; for thou hast found favour with God. And behold, thou shall bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Wherefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which is evil cometh of the devil; ... But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God; and to serve him, is inspired of God.
