Mosiah 26:1 &3

Now it came to pass that there were many of the rising generation that could not understand the words of King Benjamin, being little children at the time . . .And now because of their unbelief they could not understand the word of God; and their hearts were hardened.

Mosiah 23:22-23

Nevertheless-- whosoever puteth his trust in him, (God) the same shall be lifted up at the last day.  . . .  They were brought into bondage and none could deliver them but the Lord their God, yea, even the God of Abraham and Isaac and of Jacob.

And he also himself, did till the earth, that thereby  he might not be a burden to people, that he might do according to that which his father had done in all things. and there was no contentions among all his people for the space of three years.
