It all comes down to this one thing

“And this is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3)  

Mercy and grace of the Holy Messiah

“Behold he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered. Wherefore how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is  no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy and grace of the Holy Messiah who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.”  (2 Nephi 2:7-8)

He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory

“Jesus answered and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory…” (St John 7:16-17)

I invite all to question doctrine, teachings, theories and know for themselves the doctrine that is true.    

That we might have hope

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.” (Romans 15:4-5)

The words of Paul

“I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, or things to come, not height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

“All things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
