We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Topic: Family; 1 Corinthians 7

Paul wrote to the Corinthians on marriage and said "I speak by permission and not of commandment." So we take this as Paul's words which the Lord gave him permission to speak. There is a lot there that would cause some of us to strain at a gnat and swallow a mountain.  But I use this one verse where he speaks of being married to an unbelieving spouse.  Of the marriage, he says; “Else were your children unclean; but now are they are holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases; but God hath called us to peace.”
