We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Genesis 50:17 &19
. . . And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
. . . And Joseph said unto them, Fear not for I am in the place of God. ... God meant it unto good to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
After all they had done Joseph forgave them. Of course he had much time to think about it. Besides things were going pretty good for him by then. But we all know we are suppose to forgive. Still it is very difficult to overcome the hurt, the pain so quickly. My very wise father always said, anger cankers the soul and will destroy us. I have seen it do that very thing.
