We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

There is only one God



“There is one God and one Shepherd over all the earth.” (1 Nephi 13:38)
It does not matter if one is Catholic, Baptist or Mormon. There is but one God over all of us. He is the same who created the earth, parted the Red sea in the days of Moses, and sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for us. He is the God of the Bible and the same in the Book of Mormon. My Baptist upbringing gave me a good foundation for becoming a Mormon. The Book of Mormon takes nothing away from that foundation but explains and enriches those truths. It is like turning on a light in a darkened room and seeing that the table you saw in the half light is laden with a feast.
