We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

We can all be inspired to have the Lord speak by us.

“The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.” (2 Samuel 22:2)
This is David speaking here and he is saying that he is speaking by inspiration. I hope we realize that we can all be inspired to have the Lord speak by us. It isn’t only the prophets, or the preachers, or ministers; it is any and all of us who call upon the Lord willing to do his will. I know I have many times used the story about my father who sat out in the bushes with a shotgun across his lap, praying to see who was cutting his fence so he could shoot them. This is a perfect example of someone one speaking by inspiration. This man, just a poor uneducated dirt farmer, but with a pure heart seeking the will of the Lord was able to do this marvelous thing.  When someone asked him why he hadn’t been able to find out who it was, he said, “I don’t know. I think the Lord is protecting me.” Later he told me, “The words just came out of my mouth.”
We all have that ability, that gift if you will, to have the word of the Lord in our tongues. You may also be able to recall prophetic words that came out of your mouth as well.
