We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Topic: Gifts; Exodus 23: 8

When the Lord gives Moses the laws, pertaining to integrity and godly conduct he says, "And thou shall take no gift: for the gift bindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous."
I think this means that our conduct should not be swayed from righteousness by gifts. In other words we should not take gifts in payment for our christan duty such as preaching the gosple and doing good deeds.
