We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Topic: Thankful; 1 Timothy 2:1 -2

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority: that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

I find this so interesting that not only does Paul exhort Timothy to pray, for all men, kings and all that are in authority but to give thanks for them. Doesn't our attitude toward those in authority over us change when we pray for them but what if we gave thanks for them?
