We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Not knowing beforehand the things I should do...

This is the second day of the 90 day challenge to read the Book of Mormon. The scripture that caught my attention today said, “And I was led by the Spirit not knowing beforehand the things I should do. (1Nephi 4:6)
What a wonderful way to live our lives. No worries, let go and let God. Well, not really. It takes a lot of faith to do the things the Lord asked us to do.  Sometimes it is really hard to do the things we should. We may be asked, as Lehi was, to pack up our family and go into the wilderness, to the mountain tops, or across the sea. The question is will we go? If in the end our lives, and the lives of our family depend on it. Will we be in tune enough to know… Oh that is another thing that hit me today is how many times Nephi said, ‘I knew, or I know.’ Do we know?
