We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

I am grateful for the scriptures

“It were not possible that our father, Lehi could have remembered all these things, to have taught them to his children, except it were for the help of these plates.”  (Mosiah 1:4)

I am so grateful for our forefathers who came over to America from England and brought their Bibles. I am grateful for Gutenberg who made it possible for written copies of the record of the Jews to be recorded that our ancestors would bring that precious knowledge with them in the form of a book. For it was not possible that our forefathers could have remembered the books of Moses and the writings and letters of the apostles in the detail of the books of  the Bible.  Thus, the gospel could be restored in these latter days.
