No unclean thing ...

“No unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood.” (3 Nephi 27:19)

We become unclean simply by entering this world -- by being born. There is no way we can return to our heavenly home except through the atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
