We are all of different temperament and personalities. And that's a good thing. We need people who are organizers, neat freaks, compassionate, healers, hugers, damaged and so on. Okay, it would be better if we didn't have damaged, or hurt or angry or proud, people, but that's part of the trial. It is because of agency, because Heavenly Father wanted us to be able to choose between good and evil that we must find him by faith. As I have said before it hurts so much when those we love have not even the faith of a mustard seed, but how much more it must hurt our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave his life for us and we choose to ignore him.
Thomas doubted the stories he heard of how Christ had risen - until he saw for himself. Jesus said unto him. "Because thou hath seen me, thou hath believed, Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." It's harder for some people than it is for others, but Heavenly Father has given us everything we need that we might believe that Jesus is the Son of God and believing we might have life through his name. He has given us the scriptures - a history and testimonies to teach us - and he has given us the Holy Ghost that we might know of a surety that it is true. Then we no longer just believe. We KNOW that Jesus Christ lives.
