We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world.

If God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved, then why did they scorn him, and mock him. Why do some of us do that even today? Because of pride and because of guilt and because we forgot and don't understand. Because God gave us agency to make up our own minds what we should do and to find the truth.
It hurts so much to see our children turn away from what they were taught and wander in darkness. How much more then does it hurt the Father of us all, who begot us Spiritually. Even more how much more does it hurt his only begotten Son who died that we might live again.

If it were needed I think that I might be willing to sacrifice my life for a worthy cause, for my country, for my spouse and my children. But Christ gave his life and took up on him the sins knowing that many would never accept him. My son Eddie once said that was the reason Lucifer presented his plan. He was afraid he would not recognize the Christ and that he would not return to that glory he once knew. Eddie said he actually thought it was a good plan too, but Father was not happy with it. Because he loved, and trusted Father he agreed to come.

I have often marveled at Fathers plan because only in this way could he find the most loyal, the most intelligent, the most Holy and pure entities to do his work. And then I wonder, if this world is but a small moment in time and for those who make it back to the celestial Kingdom what are we going to do. What is so important that Heavenly Father who loves us would send his children to this earth knowing that only two thirds of us would go in the first place and once we got here a large percentage of us would not make it back. Just what is he preparing us for? Whatever it is it must be important because I know the pain of loosing my loved ones to the darkness and how much greater then is Heavenly Father's pain and that of Jesus Christ.

I don't think we are going to be sitting around basking in our glory. No there is something greater and grander going on up there.
