“And a certain Jew named Apollos… was instructed in the way
of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently
the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. And he began to speak
boldly in the synagogue; whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard they took him
unto them and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.” (Acts 18:
24-26)
“For we know in part, But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a
child, I understood as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish
things.” (1 Corinthians 13 : 9 – 11)
We grow in the Gospel even as we grow in life and progress
in knowledge and experience. Some of us are content to be C students, some are A
students while others excel beyond that and become masters and teachers.
