We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Our blind eye

“I the Lord have called thee in righteousness and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people for a light of the Gentiles. Ye open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. “ (Isaiah 42:6 & 7)
Don’t we all have blind eyes to something? We think we know things and then we have an experience that teaches us a new layer, a new aspect of something we thought we knew so well. Are we not our own jailor and keep ourselves locked in a prison in our minds, carrying with us, anger, resentments from hurts and fears of yesterday? Going over and over it, living the horror of it again and again. Give it to the Lord walk into the light and be free.
