“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil, that put
darkness for light, and light for
darkness, that put bitter for sweet , and sweet for bitter. Woe unto them that
are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight.” (Isaiah 5: 20
&21)
How can I be sure that I am not one that is putting darkness
for light? How can I tell if a thing is right or wrong? Answer; the Holy Spirit
gives us answers that speaks to our hearts by a still small voice. But the first thing you need to have the desire to know right from wrong.
I confess that so many times I have ignored that feeling and
have regrettably suffered the consequences. Right now I am having trouble with my car
because I took it to a particular repair shop despite the negative feeling I had
about that particular shop. You would think that by the time I got to be this
old I’d know better. Nope. I’m still
doing stupid stuff.
