We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; in deed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul ... if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Himself took our infirmities , and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 9:7And when the evening was come they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick, That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying Himself took our infirmities , and bare our sicknesses.
He prepared for his atonement taking upon him our infirmities. Last night the Choir I am with had a wonderful Easter presentation. There were several numbers that were written by members of the choir. One of them had the line. He took our sins with him into that tome. It makes one wonder how much of our sickness, our infirmities are caused by sin of our own choice or our mistakes. Of course we know that we are also given infirmities that we might be made strong by overcoming them. Of course we are not to judge, but to worry about the beam in our own eye.
It is such a marvelous thing to think that a man can die and yet rise again and live – become a translated being – flesh and bone – but no longer flesh and blood.
